Quintin "Tex" Marlow
Co-Chairperson of our Landscaping & Beautification
He is a 24 year resident of "Back Bay At Lago Mar" and a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach. He has recently retired from a 40+ year career in the automotive industry in upper management, manufacturer representative, and software solutions director.
During his lengthy career he served in many different capacities. During the first segment, he served as a General Manager, General Sales Manager, Business Manager, and Wholesale Vehicle Buyer with several local (high line import and domestic) dealerships. In his second career segment he served as Regional Manager with Volvo Cars N.A. (Volvo Car Finance/Ford Motor Credit) overseeing an eight state territory and the performance of those Volvo dealers. After ten plus years of travelling in this position, he was offered a position with a major automotive software solutions company and began the last segment of his career serving as a Product & Performance Manager. He later transitioned to a new "start up" company and was responsible for over 1800+ dealerships. He completed his automotive career with them and announced his retirement in June, 2025.
Once retired, it has allowed him time to begin enjoying some of his many interests including any home DIY projects, golf, music (lifelong drummer), and most importantly- his two wonderful grandkids (girl-13 and boy-11). He and his wife are fortunate enough to be able to spend time with them most every weekend, particularly during their respective sports seasons (golf and baseball). Shortly after his retirement, he accepted the Head Coach position of his granddaughter's Golf Team at Camden County Middle School (N.C.). This has proven to be one of the most rewarding things in his life and his team completed a successful season in the CAC (Coastal Athletic Conference). He is an integral part of the LMCC team and is committed to the continued success, appearance, and pride that is part of this amazing community and residents.
